MAPUSA/RAIA: Super Goans SC came from a goal down to defeat St Sebastian SC by 2-1 margin in the GFA’s Third Division League Bardez Zone played at Moira ground, Moira, on Tuesday.
It was Floyd Pereira who put his team ahead in the 31st minute of play with a neat placement, 1-0.

On crossing over, Super Goans were a complete transformed unit who not only levelled terms in the 57th minute with Nathan D’Souza scoring but it was Vipul Pednekar’s 61st minute goal that gave Super Goans their second win and full three points from today’s encounter.
At Vagator ground, Bhumika SC and Holy Cross Arambol SC were locked in a goalless draw.
At Duler ground, Badem United SC drubbed Nerul Sports Club by 9-0 margin. It was one way traffic encounter with Badem United going into the breather with five goals cushion. Nikhil Bhandari and Mohammad Nadaf did most of the damage by scoring three goals each while Shubham Shirwaikar (2) and Velon Pereira adding their names to the scorers list.
At Kelbai ground, Mayem, Sirsaim SWC and Kelbai Sports Club were locked in a 2-2 draw.
Surprisingly, all the four goals came in the first session of play. Aman Kambli and Rohit Parsekar scored for Sirsaim SC while Sahil Naik and Gopal Gaddi netted for Kelbai SC to share a point each.
Salcete Zone: St Rock YC, Majorda, registered an easy win against United Club Benaulim by a 5-1 margin in the league match played at Dando ground, Benaulim, on Tuesday.
St Rock YC netted a hat-trick through Lenny Joseph Vaz while Myron Anthony Pereira and Rajan Yadav scored a goal each. Luis Fernandes pulled a goal back for United Club Benaulim.
At Chandor ground, Ugem Rising Club moved past Rumdamol SC 5-2.
Ugem Rising Club netted through Selvito Pereira, Reffern Gomes, Alcon Fernandes, Sahid Khan, Simon Furtado and Alcon Fernandes while for Rumdamol SC, Akash Bhosle and Aron Coutinho scored.
At Betalbatim ground, Margao SC edged past Raia SC 4-2. Stewart Miranda netted a hat-trick and Sandroy scored a goal for Margao SC while for Raia SC Manthan Naik netted a brace.
