VASCO: Taekwondo Federation of India, Bangaluru in association with Taekwondo Association of Goa, Panjim – Goa conducted the Black Belt examination of Taekwondo students at Navy Children School, Vasco, recently.
A total of 104 students appeared for the examination for 1st Dan, 2nd Dan and 3rd Dan respectively.
The President of Taekwondo Association of Goa Advocate Raju Mangeshkar, co-ordinated with the Taekwondo Federation of India and arranged the examination to be conducted at Goa to facilitate the students of Goa.
National examiners Avinash Bargave from Pune and Ajit Gharge from Mumbai were the examiners deputed by the Taekwondo Federation of India. However, Praveen Borse, from Pune and the Technical Director for the West Zone Taekwondo in-charge was the observer for the examination.
General Secretary, Deepak Mandrekar welcomed all the students along with the examiners and the observer. The President Raju Mangeshkar expressed his gratitude towards the Principal of Navy Children School, Vasco and thanked him for allotting the school premises as venue for conducting the examination.
Mahadev Chavan co-ordinated with the Taekwondo Association of Goa for the smooth conduct of examination.
