Joaquim Abranches has taken his things up to another level in last two seasons! the striker had some forgetful seasons in past, but ever since his return to Dempo SC, the man has regained his goalscoring form in last two seasons in the State and it’s hard to think of any attacker better than him going into West Zone Santosh Trophy Qualifiers. A lethal finisher and the team could rely on him for more goals this year.
Stendly Fernandes
The Sporting Clube de Goa academy product who had been promoted to senior team last year has grown to a man in football terms. The shy lad —with his blistering pace and unexpected runs upfront used to torment the rival back line. Stendley will be crucial in coach Anthony’s game plan. The lad has the ability not only to provide assists but also to score when the opportunity arises.
Chaitan Komarpant
Another talent in the making. Chaitan has the ability to crack teams apart with his pace and dribbling. Chaitan scored great goals too for club and the State in the past. He managed to hold his position on the left flank for one of the biggest clubs in Goa. If he continues with his ‘fleet feet’ again, Goa has a great potential this year.
