PONDA: A case has been registered against car driver Avadhoot Ganesh Naik (41) of Daboli–Shiroda, for injuring a two-wheeler rider Amin Abdul Rehman Dakhni (28) of Silvanagar Ponda. Naik dashed his car against the scooterist, at Deulwada Borim. The said accident took place on November 30, at 8.15 am, while the case was registered on Tuesday evening.
Ponda police said, Naik was driving his car from Margao to Ponda. As soon as the driver reached Deulwada, the car suddenly swerved to the right and the car collided with the two wheeler coming from the opposite direction. The injured rider was later rushed to GMC.
