Mayem: The Government High School, Amona-Bicholim and Saraswati Vidhyalaya, Zuvem emerged champions in boys and girls categories respectively in the inter-school tug of war competition organized by Amaravati Sports Club, Amona in association with Industrial Development Corporation and Government High School, Amona, at Amruteshwar Mandap premises.
Earlier, the competition was inaugurated by Amaravati SC President Sandesh Bhagat in the presence of Secretary Paresh Fadte, Headmaster Govind Naik and journalist Ramdas Bhagat.
Sulakshana Pramod Sawant, Sesa official Mahesh Mahajan, Sarpanch Manjushri Parab, Deputy Sarpanch Sandesh Naik, Headmaster Govind Naik, Devasthan President Vishnu Gawas, President Sandesh Bhagat and member Paresh Fadte were also present.
