VASCO: The Goa Civic and Consumer Action Network (GOACAN) organised an awareness on road safety issues along with the students of MES College at the national highway junction at Zuarinagar, as part of the ongoing State Road Safety Week 2022.
The participants appealed to the two-wheeler riders to wear ISI-marked helmets for their personal safety and to make it a habit to fasten the helmet strap securely. They saw many riders riding their two-wheelers at excessive speeds and have resolved to write to the various authorities to undertake an enforcement drive to control speed.
