RAIA: Switzerland outplayed Spain 2-1 in the inaugural match of Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour at Zuri Beach, Varca, on Friday.
In another match, Poland outsmarted China 2-0 in straight sets 21-18, 21-12.
Earlier, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and Sports Minister Govind Gaude,
inaugurated the tournament in the presence of Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas, MLA Jit Arolkar, Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik, Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, former MLA Churchill Alemao, Carmona Sarpanch Dixon Vaz and other dignitaries.
