The citizens of Fatorda have written to the Executive Engineer of the PWD demanding immediate resolution to the danger part of the road at Ravindra Bhavan circle. The road leading towards the Stadium from Swimming pool and Ravindra Bhavan is narrow and has deep trench on both the sides posing danger to pedestrians and vehicles passing on that road.
“Several incidents of minor mishaps to deaths have occurred on this road as there is no retaining wall and a proper guard rail by the side of this road,” said Custodio Dias, president of a youth club of Fatorda.
The club, has in their letter, requested for construction of retaining wall and also the railing by the road. They have also demanded widening of the road as soon as possible to avoid further harm to human life.
