MAPUSA: A brilliant hat-trick by Sylvester Dias enabled Holy Cross Arambol to register a 3-1 win over Mormugao United Sports Club to advance into the quarters of the 13th Reira Soccer Cup organised by Saligao Sporting club, at Saligao ground, on Monday.
Arambol went into the breather with a 2-1 lead, with Sylvester Dias netting in both the goals in the 7th and 20th minutes from outside the penalty box.
Mormugao pulled a goal in the 30th minute through Seby who scored with a neat placement to make it 2-1.
On crossing over, in the 43rd minute, Sylvester pumped in his third goal to complete his hat-trick.
