T20: Goa Police,PVG in last eight

Holders Goa Police and PVG Sports Club moved into the quarter-finals of T20 cricket tournament organised by Sanguem Cricketers in Association with Sports Authority of Goa, at SAG ground, Curchorem.
In the first match of the day which was ended in just 11.3 overs, PVG Sports Club scored 8 wickets win over Navyug Cricket Club.
Navyug CC inning was just folded in 28 runs and PVG in their reply achieved the target in 20 balls with 8 wickets in hand.
In the second match, Goa Police CC started their defence title in style with a 5 wickets win over DP Brothers.
Brief score: Navyug CC, 28 all out in 8.1 overs: (Pundalik Naik 11 runs. Durgesh Naik 4-13, Rudresh Ajgaonkar 4-15). PVG Sports Club, 30 for 2 in 3.2 overs: (Durgesh naik not out 12 runs, Pundalik Naik 2-20). Man-of-the-match: Durgesh Naik (PVG Sports Club).
