Goan writers lauded for preserving State’s culture

PANJIM: Goan writers have played a big role in preserving the State’s culture through their writings, said Art and Culture Minister, Govind Gaude.

He was speaking at World Poetry Day programme organised by Manasa Creations at Panajim. He also expressed satisfaction over Manasa Creations’ initiative for organising an event for writers and poets thereby providing them an opportunity to showcase their talents.

Art and Culture Deputy Director Ashok Porob and poetess Pournima Kerkar were present on the dais. 

The Manasa Sanman 2022 was awarded to Chitra Kshirsagar. She was felicitated at the hands of minister Gaude.
