Goa Pavilion receives special appreciation award at IITF Delhi

PANJIM: The Goa Pavilion was awarded the Special Appreciation Medal for Excellence in Thematic Presentation (State), at the IITF 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Director of Information and Publicity Deepak Bandekar along with Kedar Dhume, founder and CEO of the event management agency, Advertising Associates handed over the certificate and trophy to Chief Minister Pramod Sawant at Mantralaya on Wednesday.

The Goa Pavilion highlighted the Swayampurna Programme 2.0 to match the theme of the trade fair ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

The display of the pavilion entrance had a message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi praising Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for his leadership in starting the initiative of self-reliance and working towards achieving the goals of Swayampurna Goa along the lines of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The other display panels included a message from the Chief Minister, where he elaborates on fulfilling the State’s endeavour and achieving desired outcomes in the form of Atmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa 2.0

The Goa Pavilion was presented by the Department of Information and Publicity, which is the nodal agency at the State government and highlighted the key initiatives taken by the State as a global investment destination besides promoting itself as the event capital of India by successfully hosting international events such as G20, International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Ironman, and national events including the National Games, Serendipity Arts Festival etc.

Advertising Associates had conceptualised, designed, erected and managed the Goa Pavilion and allied activities, states a press release.
