Curtorim Gymkhana started attackingly and stunned their rivals with two quick goals inside the first five minutes.
First, midfielder Joaquim Carvalho picked out Stephen Fernandes inside the box and the striker made no mistake to slot the ball past Nuvem goalkeeper Joel Colaco in the very second minute.
Hardly had the cheers died down, Curtorim Gymkhana secured their second goal after Nuvem defender Schubert Colaco in an effort to clear a dangerous cross from Mario Mascarenhas, nodded the ball inside his own net.
Nuvem did not collapse and raised their game considerably to reduce the margin in the 29th minute through Stephen Colaco from an assist by Gamy Costa. Nuvem’s comeback was complete after the restart when Gamy Costa struck a wonderful bicycle kick off a cross by Inacio Colaco flag kick to restore parity 2-2.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Curtorim Gymkhana had the last laugh.
