MARGAO: Following the Deputy Collector’s order various village panchayats in Salcete have arranged vaccination drives for the citizens above the age of 45 years.
While the vaccination drive will be held between 9 am and 2 pm, people will have to come along with their Aadhaar Cards and mobile phones to avail the jabs and who have completed 84 days after receiving the first dose of the vaccine can take the second at these camps.

Chandor/Guirdolim
The vaccination drive will be held at Chandor Cavorim Panchayat Community Hall above the panchayat on May 28 and 29, while in neighbouring Guirdolim village on May 27 and 28 in the panchayat hall.
Macasana/Cuncolim
The jabs will be given at Macasana in the village panchayat hall on May 26 and 27 and at the Damodar High School in Paroda on May 26 and 27 while at Cuncolim Municipal Hall it will be held for three days from May 24 to 26. Meanwhile, 12 houses were sanitised in Chandor Cavorim on Saturday as COVID patients were in home isolation in these houses.
Anjuman HS
In order to help the residents of Housing Board, a vaccination drive will be held at the Anjuman High School on May 24 and 25, and the chairman of school Aslam Shaikh appealed to the government to enable them to vaccinate people above the age of 18 too.
Varca/Cavelossim
Vaccination drives will also be held at St Mary High School, Varca from May 24 to 26 and at Cavelossim on May 24 and 25, from 9 am to 2 pm.
Aquen Baixo/Davorlim/ Telaulim
The vaccination camps will be held from May 24 to 26 at the Aquem Baixo Panchayat hall, Davorlim Panchayat hall and at the Telaulim Panchayat hall, from 9 am to 4 pm.
