PANJIM: Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot on Monday met Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik at Goa Medical College and Hospital and enquired about his health.
“His condition is good, he spoke to me,” Gehlot said after the meeting. Gehlot is in Goa to participate in various programmes scheduled by his department including distribution of Rs 2.5 crore worth aid to around 2,500 persons with various disabilities in the State.

Naik is undergoing treatment at GMC following an accident last week. Naik, along with his wife and personal assistant, were on their way to Gokarna from Yellapur. His wife Vijaya Naik and the personal assistant died in the accident.
