Fire Service department in Mapusa thwarted a potential catastrophe on Monday evening. Their prompt action prevented a dangerous situation as dry grass caught fire close to a cluster of approximately 15 vehicles in Ekta Nagar. The well-coordinated response from the fire and emergency service personnel proved instrumental in averting a major disaster.
The team, led by Suraj Shetgaonkar, alongside Fireman Jayesh Kandolkar, Driver Operator P.R. Mandrekar, and Firefighters A.K. Kalangutkar, showcased their expertise in containing and extinguishing the blaze before it could spread and engulf any nearby vehicles.
