PANJIM: Rain and thunder showers since Friday night has brought down rising mercury levels by more than 4 degrees giving some respite to the State which was reeling under simmering heat and humidity.
While the capital city reported 8 mm of rainfall, other areas reported 1 or 2 cms of rainfall since Friday night. On Saturday, Goa experienced cloudy weather and light drizzles till noon.
