It is a shame to see how our politicians involve themselves in controversies, blame games, dramas, allegations and anti social activities. Not a single political party seems to be serious about progress of the country; on the contrary their energy is wasted in digging into personal lives, defaming each other and dividing the public on the basis of religion.
Media too, showcases all unwanted, senseless discussions among prominent personalities which are of no good to the society at large. Success is achievable only when everybody strives to achieve a common goal even with differences in opinion.
Our politicians should realize that they have been elected to do some serious work for the progress of our country. Media plays a major role for the construction and progress of a good society, but they fail to understand this. When empty promises cannot be fulfilled, our leaders will always try mind diverting techniques and media becomes partner. It is time now to elect candidates who will do some constructive work, rather than casting our vote to those who make false and unrealistic promises in election manifesto.
