PERNEM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Monday said to start full-fledged operations at the new Tuem Community Health Centre there is a need of doctors and specialist.

“There is requirement of doctors and specialists to start operations at the new building of community health centre at Tuem. If we get them then only we can run the centre full-fledge and we are working on it,” disclosed the Health Minister.
During his visit to Pernem Taluka, Rane inspected the primary health centre at Casarwane.
The Health Minister said, “The department cannot go ahead with the present Casarwane PHC building and at the same time we cannot ignore the centre. With the present condition, the department cannot go ahead with the building. Within a month, I will prepare an action plan for the building. I have already moved a file to upgrade the center from primary to community. Due to rising population, Pernem taluka requires two community health centres.”
