VASCO: Arossim residents have objected to the ongoing film shoot at the Arossim beach as it is allegedly inconveniencing the locals.
According to information, the villagers made a telephonic complaint to the Verna Police claiming that the film crew had cordoned off around a 300 meter area on the beach with bouncers, who prevented the locals from walking on the beach.
“It is our village and we have the right to access the beach. However, the film crew had brought bouncers, who were preventing senior citizens and others from walking on the beach. When we questioned them, they said that the filming unit has a licence from the Tourism Department. But no copy of the licence was made available either to the police or to us even though we demanded they produce the same,” said Neves Pereira, a resident of Utorda.
