Play of the mind incites behaviour

Thoughts originate in our mind from contact with people and its quality depends on our inner belief. They have the power to bring diverse people together and also to divide many. Thoughts can have lasting influence on us. Our life is shaped by the forceful talk of the mind or play of the mind on our behaviour because thoughts are our mental boundaries. Therefore, it is said, that “…a thought, if it is constantly held in the mind, it forces us to action; and repeated action, creates a habit which forms our character and shapes our destiny.” Mainly, thoughts may be positive or negative.
Negative thoughts such as greed, pride, laziness, sadness, and selfishness, to mention a few, are like weeds that choke all the beautiful budding blossoms of life and starts wild negative behaviour of anger, misery and disappointment. Once we are in that cycle, it is hard to come out of it. Authorities tell us that negative thoughts ultimately lead to diseases, therefore, its regular weeding helps us in protecting our emotional health.
Positive thoughts include   patience, peace, joy, unity; they are like the good seeds in our hearts that assist moral ideas for our mind starting positive behaviour by making us look at our difficulties in all possible positive angles Therefore, it is necessary to have a regular control over our ideas in the mind.
Different types of mind’s talk incite individuals to action in different ways. Take the case of Adolph Hitler whose mind valued the superiority of the German race and that created negative thoughts in him. It directed his life’s goal of power. His actions brought immeasurable destruction and death to millions, including a shameful end to his own life. Similarly, tricky brain waves make a person plan of cheating others; while miserly view in the brain box, inspires individuals to save money, even if it means to live half-starving; pleasure-seeking thoughts makes individuals live wastefully like the prodigal son in the Bible. A doubting mind makes individual to judge others in a hurry and criticise them with unkind remarks and even damage others’ public image. Mind filled with vulgar thoughts may play a part in unhealthy activity of sexual matters for simple fun. A cruel mind may talk of fighting with people, while a peaceful mind talks of relaxing activities. Spiritual thoughts give us strength to stand with poise during storms of failures and depression.
They strengthen us to overcome failures and enable us to climb the ladder of success. A mind filled with corrupt ideas makes one to suck the blood of innocent people like mosquitoes sucking blood of humans at night.
Nobody can predict our future. Only we can create it, with our thoughts.
It has been proven that people under similar circumstances behave and respond very differently because of differences in their thinking; so, one makes oneself miserable while the other makes his life cheerful. Indeed, all the ups and downs, joys and sorrows in an individual’s life begin with his thoughts.
