MARGAO: Goa Property Expo 2013, the biggest property show in the state, organized by Herald Group, got underway at the Ravindra Bhavan, here, on Saturday.
The property show which evoked huge response on day one was inaugurated at the hands of Chairman of Ravindra Bhavan Damu Naik in the presence of assistant general manager, Canara Bank, Circle Office, Panjim, Vijay Kumar D, General Manager Events, Herald group, Manjunath N Pujari, besides builders and prominent citizens.
In his address, Damu congratulated Herald group for organizing the event, saying it would surely help the public at large. He further said the buyers will definitely have the advantage of choice given the number of builders participating in the show. “The participation of banks in the expo will go a long way in benefiting those who need finance. People can avail loan from the banks participating in the show at affordable rates,” he added.
Congratulating Herald Group and Manjunath for his efforts for successfully organizing the property expo as well as car expo last year, Damu added, “Such expos were needed,” while suggesting that the group can host similar expos in the field of electronic and agriculture which could help in economical development of state and benefit common man.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant general manager, Canara Bank Vijay said that his bank had participated in the expo with a motto to help the common man. “The Canara Bank has 30 branches spread all over the state of Goa and that the bank’s prime aim is to meet the needs of the common man. The rate of interest offered by the bank to persons availing housing loans are the lowest,” he said and called upon the public to avail the opportunity by visiting the Herald property expo and that Canara Bank would be all out to help to avail loan if needed.
Leading builders from Goa which include Crossroads Realtors, Kurade Builder, Akar, Commonwealth Developer Pvt Ltd, Umiya, Civil Engineers & Associates, Cityscape Developers, Prabhudesai Realtors Builder and Developers, Prudential Developers and Pradip G Naik Real Estate Developers, besides Canara Bank and State Bank of India are participating in the two-day expo which will culminate on Sunday evening.
The Property Expo-2013 is also an opportunity to bridge the gap between the buyer and the seller. Various builders are showcasing their upcoming and completed projects at this expo. It is indeed a great opportunity and right platform for end-user to decide between all the various options available.
