CUNCOLIM: Snow’s Football Academy, Raia came from behind to beat Betalbatim Sporting Club 3-1 to cruise into the final of the Yarri cup inter-village (South Goa) football tournament organised by Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim school ground, Cuncolim, on Saturday.
Snow’s FA showed complete dominance after being down by an early goal.
Zaden Dias gave an early lead to Betalbatim SC in the 13th minute of the match off a pass from Frazer Rogtao.
Snow’s FA had an opportunity to equalise the deficit, but missed a golden opportunity as Oilex Oliveira spot kick was saved by Micky Antao under the Betalbatim SC bar.
Snow’s FA increased the pace of the match in the second session and scored three goals.
First, Oilex who missed penalty in the first session cancelled Betalbatim’s lead after beating two defenders in the 47th minute.
Lloyd Cardozo gave Snow’s FA the lead off Jason Gaunker’s pass in the 65th minute while Jessico Fernandes made issue much safer for Snow’s by scoring the third goal in the 70th minute off Oilex’s pass.
