On my last query at the Department office, I was told the fittings are not available. There could only be two explanations–Lack of local funds or short supply. If it is the latter reason, I would urge the manufacturer to come! Make in Goa. Decent roads, well lit streets should be the order of the day.

Incidentally, my file regarding change in tariff from commercial to residential is sitting pretty at the local (Reis Magos) electricity department. I am at a loss to understand why a mere visit by the JE to confirm/verify details in my application should take so long. Is this the way forward for Goa?
