Parents and local residents have raised concerns over the poor condition of the pathway leading to the Government Pre-Primary School and Anganwadi at Borde in Bicholim, where overgrown vegetation and muddy conditions have made access difficult and potentially dangerous.
The pathway has become slippery due to accumulated mud, while dense vegetation along the route has heightened fears of snakes and other venomous creatures, posing a safety risk to young children attending the school and Anganwadi.

Social activist Meghasham Raut visited the site to assess the situation and expressed dissatisfaction over the condition of the access road. He urged the local MLA, Chief Minister and Education Minister to intervene immediately and ensure that the overgrown vegetation is cleared and the muddy pathway is restored to a safe condition.
Raut said prompt action is essential to provide relief to students, parents and school staff, while ensuring that children can access the educational institutions safely without being exposed to unnecessary hazards.
