PANJIM: Hosts Gaura Vaddo United, Calangute defeated Brothers in Arms, Assonora 3-2 via tie-breaker in the final of Gaura Vaddo United Cup, at Gaura Vaddo ground, recently.
Gaura Vaddo, United broke the deadlock in the 10th minute through Pankaj Shirodkar. Crossing over, Brothers in Arms, Assnora scored the equaliser in the dying minute through Sahil.
In the tie-breaker, Sanjay Vengurlekar and Vijay Parsekar were on target for Gaura Vaddo United while only Senaj was on target for Brothers in Arms. Gaura Vaddo United keeper Pritesh Matkar saved two penalty kicks.
