MAPUSA: FC Sanquelim SC thrashed Assonora United Sport Club by 4-0 margin in the GFA’s Third Division league Bardez zone, played at Quitula grounds, here, on Wednesday.
Vicky Gawas opened the account for the winners scoring from inside the 18-yard box in the 13th minute of play.
As the match progressed Tanmay Gaonkar and Tejas Kukalkar pumped in two more goals before the breather.
On crossing over once again Tanmay Gaonkar netted his brace to take the score tally to 4-0.
At Mandrem ground, Sai Avtar SC registered a 5-3 win over Bhumika SC. Tanai Parsekar did most of the damage as he scored all five goals for the winners. For Bhumika colts Ramesh Ashvekar, Shubham Sawant and Shubham Shetgaonkar scored.
