Six girls rescued in Calangute

CALANGUTE: Members of ‘Save Calangute’ assisted Calangute police in rescuing six girls allegedly involved in a prostitution racket at Calangute, after a group of tourists were reportedly assaulted at a parlour.

CALANGUTE: Members of ‘Save Calangute’ assisted Calangute police in rescuing six girls allegedly involved in a prostitution racket at Calangute, after a group of tourists were reportedly assaulted at a parlour.
12 tourists were allegedly made to pay Rs 2,500 each for an hour-long massage at a parlour near St Anthony’s Chapel in Gaura Vaddo, Calangute.
However, all the tourists were given barely 10 minutes of massage and were asked to shell out more for sex. When the tourists refused to do so, they were allegedly assaulted by the bouncers of the massage parlour. 
A ‘Save Calangute’ member who happened to pass BY noticed the tourists in distress outside the parlour and on enquiry, the tourists narrated the incident. Other members of ‘Save Calangute’ were later alerted and the Calangute police was summoned to the site.
