MAPUSA: The highlight on the opening day of the Agape Cup in 2nd All-India Christian football championship was a hat-trick by Kiran of Karnataka against the newly established state of Telangana in a 3-0 Victory, at Duler stadium, here, on Thursday.
Kiran scored the first goal in the dying minutes of the first half and then went on to score a brace in the second session.
In the opening match, Kerala grounded Gujarat 2-0 with Alex scoring in the fourth minute and Vishnu scoring in the 15th minute of the second half.
