MAPUSA: Goa and Kerala played a draw, in their Group C Ranji Trophy tie, at Wayanand Cricket Stadium, in Kerala, on Wednesday.
Kerala gained three points while Goa had to be content with a point.
On Tuesday, Kerala trailed Goa by 68 runs as the day ended on 60/2 for the host.
Kerala resumed their first innings on the final day and took a lead of 26 runs as they finished on 393.
Saurabh Bandekar clinched three wickets while Robin D’Souza and Gauresh Gawas accounted a wicket each.
Goa scored 179/1 in 51 overs as the match came to a close.
Sagun Kamat scored a blistering 103 not out from 158 balls and he was well supported by Swapnil Asnodkar’s 69 not out. Kerala only managed to get the wicket of opener Amogh Desai (1).
Goa’s next match is against Hyderabad, on December 14, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Uppal, in Hyderabad.
Kerala travel to take on Andhra Pradesh on the same day.
