PALDEM-CURTORIM: Damdolem came from behind to down St Anthony SC 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Paldem Sports Club inter-ward football tournament, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim on Tuesday.
St Anthony opened the score-line through striker Nagbren Estebeiro, after dribbling past Dandolem defender Vicky Cardozo scored in the seventth minute while Celvin Vaz doubled the lead for St.Anthony in the 40th minute. In the second half, Damdolem came from behind and Vicky Cardozo made it 1-2 in the 42nd minute.
Joliston Fernandes netted two quick goals for Damdolem in the 44th and 47th minutes with powerful long range shots.
Jackson Fernandes netted a goal for Damdolem in the 52nd minute to make it 4-2.
