CURCHOREM: The Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology Department, South Zone II, Margao, raided at a shop in Curchorem and seized 190 rice bags from the premises on Tuesday.
According to Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology Department, South Zone II, Margao, Prasad Shirodkar, the officials acted on a tip-off and raided the shop.
Shirodkar further informed that the shop owner has been asked to furnish all the documents including bills within two days, failing which the department will take necessary action as per the law.
