PANJIM: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has announced that the Porvorim Primary Health Centre (PHC) is likely to get upgraded soon.
Rane was speaking a function at PHC to felicitate the health workers of the PHC in their fight against COVID-19. Referring to a request for the upgradation by Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte, Rane said he will be pursuing administrative approval for the same with Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

“The (upgraded) Porvorim HC will be equipped with additional facilities to cater to needs of the people of Porvorim and neighbouring areas,” said Rane.
