Arambol: Mandrem Police arrested two men for allegedly organising a bullfight for betting purposes at an open area near the parking lot in Madhlawada, Arambol, on September 16.
The accused were identified as Vikas Mali (22) and Chohote Lal (37).

According to police, the two allegedly arranged the bullfight and incited the animals to fight, allegedly subjecting the bulls to cruelty in the process.
Police initiated action after the alleged incident and arrested the two men. Further investigation is underway.
