GAIL okays natural gas line to Goa

PANJIM, JUNE 26 Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has approved an investment of over Rs 7,500 crore for laying the Dabhol-Bengaluru and Kochi-Kanjirkkod-Bengaluru-Mangalore pipelines, which will bring natural gas to Goa.

Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has approved an investment of over Rs 7,500 crore for laying the Dabhol-Bengaluru and Kochi-Kanjirkkod-Bengaluru-Mangalore pipelines, which will bring natural gas to Goa. In part A of the first phase, a 402-km pipeline will be laid from Dabhol to Gokak, along with spur lines to Belgaum and Goa, for  Rs 1,593 crore, to be completed by 2011-12.
