Security beefed up at Vasco

Vasco Police has beefed up security in the sensitive areas in Vasco, in view of Ayodhya verdict on Thursday.
Vasco PI Braz Menezes informed that they would deploy police at most of the religious places in Vasco from Thursday morning.
Similarly, Verna Police will deploy police in some sensitive areas in its police jurisdiction.
However, earlier in the day, Director General of Police (DGP) Bhimsen Bassi had listed Vasco town among the five towns of Margao, Mapusa, Ponda and Curchorem that has mix population and which has the potential of triggering crisis, where additional security would be provided.
