The Association President Peter Fernandes said, “Wood fired kiln bakers may bake some basic products which will be sold at their residence only and not in the open market.”

He asked all bakers to properly clean their baskets in which their ware is taken to the market along with the cloth or plastic cover used to cover the basket besides asking the vendors to wear masks, caps and gloves.

He even suggested that the vendors use sanitisers and also asked all the bakers to prepare the health cards of their workers besides keeping the bakery utensils, chimneys and premises clean.
