PANJIM: The Narcotics Drugs and?Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Court on Sunday remanded a 38-year-old Palolem resident Agnel Fernandes to three days police custody on charges with trafficking amphetamine.
The anti narcotics sleuths arrested him with the consignment near Anjuna Church on Saturday. “The synthetic drug weighs 27 gms worth Rs 1.40 lakh. We have confiscated other things from his possession,” said an officer.
The ANC has conceded that the party drug has entered the drug scene in Goa following the arrest of a British national last month.
