MARGAO: Taluka Legal Services Committee of Salcete in association with South Goa Child Welfare Committee organized a legal awareness programme with an interactive session on “Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection” for children of Velentna’s Little Heaven from Colva.
While Chairperson of South Goa Child Welfare Committee Lida Joao welcomed the gathering, Shubhada Dalvi, secretary of the Legal Services Committee introduced all the various schemes available for children while Anushka Laad spoke on mental health of children.
Dr Muriel Sequeira spoke on children’s protection while Dr Zoya Joao conducted an activity session with the children and a short video aimed at motivating and inspiring the children.It was co-ordinated by Wilson Fernandes.
