PANJIM: Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of The Netherlands Thierry Van Helden along with his team on Tuesday met members of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), here, where he enquired about IT and start-ups in Goa and offered to support the start-up industry.
During the meeting, Helden discussed about proposed trade expansion of The Netherlands and while speaking about Goan avenues, he informed that The Netherlands would be interested in providing technical expertise and innovation in the fields of waste management, climate change etc. He also gave a brief of the visa process and details to the GCCI members.
GCCI President Ralph de Souza gave a brief background on GCCI’s activities and the business scenario in Goa. The GCCI will also be signing an Memorandum of Understanding with HAS University, for promotion of agriculture in both the countries.
