A Maruti van was gutted in a major fire at Majorda railway gate on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred this morning when the vehicle was parked near the railway gate.
The loss is put at Rs 1.50 lakh.
The cause of fire is being ascertained.
Rescued: The Margao police on Tuesday morning rescued a girl after her apartment caught fire at Ambaji.
Police said the fire services removed the LPG cylinder from the house before the fire could cause major damage.
The girl was later referred to the hospital.
