Anjuna Police on Thursday arrested three persons on charges of negligence in the death of French Naval officer Orlati Vincent David (25) in a swimming pool in a hotel at Anjuna.
Police arrested hotel owner-cum-Managing Director Farookh Manik Shaw, Director-cum-Manager Nitesh Dabholkar and Night Manager Felix D’Souza for negligence on part of the hotel authorities, in connection with the death of David, who drowned on Wednesday. They were later released on bail.
It may be recalled that a French Navy personnel Orlati Vincent David drowned in a hotel swimming pool after a late night party. Anjuna Police has filed a case of negligence against the hotel authorities and is investigating the case.
