Betalbatim SC had the better of Verna SC 3-2 in Nagoa Village Panchayat Cup organizex by Pax of Nagoa Sports Club at Nagoa grounds, Verna on Saturday.
There was no score at full time.
The teams had a number of scoring chances and the best chance came in the way of Carsen Menezes of Verna S.C, who, however, missed the golden chance to head home after he was fed with a beautiful pass from the right flank.
Yesterday, Parish Youth of Nuvem beat CAC 1-0 with Joaquim Coutinhoa being the scorer. Steven Barretto of Parish Youth of Nuvem was declared man-of-the match.
