DICARPALE: Guirdolim Club blanked Verna SC 4-0 to cruise into the semi-finals of the OL of Fatima Cup inter-village football tournament, organised by Dicapale SC, at Dicarpale ground, on Friday.
Maclon Colaco netted a brace for Guirdolim in the 30th and 53rd minutes respectively while Safik Sheikh and Richard D’Sa netted a goal each in the 63rd and 67th minutes to make it 4-0 for Guirdolim.
Verna tried their best to get back in the game but Guirdolim defenders prevented the Verna strikers from scoring.
Guirdolim Club will meet Navelim in the semi-finals on September 30.
