MARGAO: The Shiv Sena on Thursday gheraoed Margao Municipal Chairperson Arthur D’Silva over choked drains, encroachments on the market passages and threatened to bring a morcha to the civic body if the problems are not addressed immediately.
Carrying saffron party flags, the Shiv Sena leaders including state president Ramesh Naik warned the civic body that they would not hesitate to take the law in their hands if the drains were not cleaned immediately or the passages blocked by hawkers.
