RAIA: Guirdolim Club scored a solitary goal win over Sporting Club of Davorlim to move into the semi-finals of 26th Holy Cross inter-village football tournament played at Vodlemoll ground, Kakoda, on Monday.
The match was defined by Guirdolim Club’s relentless attack and solid defence, as they displayed remarkable prowess on the field.

Right from the onset, Guirdolim Club seized control of the game, launching persistent assaults on the rival goal. Their efforts paid off early on, with a spectacular 25-yard strike by Mario finding the back of the net leaving the SC Davorlim goalkeeper with no chance of making a save.
Despite SC Davorlim’s valiant attempts to level the score, Guirdolim Club’s steadfast defence, bolstered by an exceptional goalkeeper, thwarted every offensive move. The second half saw a surge in SC Davorlim’s offensive momentum, but Guirdolim Club’s defenders remained resolute, denying their opponents any opportunity to equalise.
