Aryan Carvalho of Areal fired a powerfull shot in the 5th minute from the edge of the penalty area but it hit the crossbar and rebounded into play.
After the break, Areal goalkeeper Joseph was kept busy in saving shots from Joyson Nunes and Jobern Cardozo. However, he could not block Aarron Barretto’s shot to give Varca the lead.
Aaron, who was outstanding for Varca, missed another opportunity as his grounder kissed the goalpost. In the dying minutes, Marcus of Areal missed a golden opportunity as his shot from close ballooned over. A last attempt by Rayman, who took a free kick from the edge of the penalty area, sailed over.The man-of-the match award was presented to Aaron Barretto.
