BENAULIM: Maina SC, Curtorim blanked 7-men Betalbatim SC 3-0 to move into the semi-final of the 29th Super Soccer football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando-Colva, at Sao Joao Baptist ground Dando-Benaulim, on Tuesday.
Betalbatim played with just seven players on the field as other players of the Betalbatim team failed to turn up.
Taking advantage of the situation, Maina SC, Curtorim went all guns blazing and netted the first goal of the match in the second minute through Jovan Dias who tapped the ball inside Betalbatim net off Savio Fernandes’ connect.
Five minutes later, Milagres Fernandes doubled the lead. Ten minutes later, Myson Fernandes made it 3-0 for Maina.
