Curchorem: Curchorem’s upgraded Primary Health Centre on Wednesday collected the swab samples of 14 employees of the electricity department, Curchorem who had reportedly come in contact with a COVID-19 patient from Sanguem.
According to the Health Officer Dr. Mohanrao Dessai, the patient is a relative of a KTC bus driver from Sanguem who was reportedly commuting along the Vasco-Margao route and found positive, is working for Curchorem electricity department and presently posted at Shigao in Dharbandora taluka.

“Since the patient visited this Curchorem office at Pontemoll on Monday, the swab samples of the 14 employees collected and sent for testing at Ponda Health Centre and the result of it expecting by tomorrow (Thursday).” said Dr. Dessai.
She further added that the swab samples of the remaining employees would be collected on Thursday.
