PANJIM: The Government of Goa has constituted the State Level Executive Committee (SLEC) and Expert Group for the State for implementing the National Livestock Mission (NLM).
As per the notification issued by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service (AHVS), the SLEC consists of five members and it shall oversee the overall activities of the NLM Scheme in Goa.

The SLEC will examine the project proposals submitted by beneficiaries and State agencies, for approval and will confirm the availability of State Share and beneficiary contribution if any as per the specific Scheme guidelines and will forward the same to the NLM.
The Expert Group, which also has five members, shall examine various projects and then recommend the same for the grants for the consideration of the Empowered Committee.
